Lethality of Three Phasmarhabditis spp. (P. hermaphrodita, P. californica, and P. papillosa) to Succinea Snails

چکیده

Succinea snails are considered to be invasive and pestiferous gastropods those in the floricultural industry. Their small size makes them difficult locate within large plant shipments, their presence on decorative plants can constitute for an entire shipment rejected sale distribution. Research performed is limited, especially terms of effective mitigation strategies. The nematode Phasmarhabditis hermaphrodita a biological control agent used throughout some European nations. Here, three strains from United States (P. hermaphrodita, P. californica, papillosa) were assessed as agents against controlled laboratory conditions, along with molluscicide Sluggo Plus® control. All species applied at 30 IJs/cm2 caused significant mortality compared non-treated treatment Plus®. californica 100% 6 days after exposure, while papillosa same rate 7 exposure. was unable cause Additional research US strains, including non-target effects distribution may lead being viable option snails.

Identification of biological secondary metabolites in three Penicillium species, P. goditanum, P. moldavicum, and P. corylophilum

Microorganisms are important components of soil. Some soil filamentous fungi such asPenicilium produce many bioactive small molecules, or secondary metabolites, that range frombeneficial bioactive compounds to harmful toxins. In this study, the metabolites of threepenicillium species (P. goditanum, P. moldavicum and P. corylophilum) were extracted byadding ethyl acetate to liquid cultures. The ...

Karyological study of apricot, cherry plum and a natural hybrid in the Prunus genus “TANASGOL” (P. cerasifera × P. spp.)

constriction and staining properties by aceto-iron-hematoxylin were analyzed for Prunus species of apricot (Prunus armeniaca L.), plum (P. cerasifera Ehrh.) and a natural new hybrid known as “TANASGOL” (P. cerasifera × P. spp.). The obtained root tips from germinated seeds at 4–6 °C and young seedlings were pretreated in hydroxyquinoline solution with 50 drops of DMSO. All species had 2n=2x=16...

Dynamic P to P Alignment

We introduce in this chapter A generalization of the classical collineation of P n. The generalization allows for a certain degree of freedom in the local-ization of points in P n at the expense of using multiple m > 2 views. The degree of freedom per point is governed by an additional parameter 1 ≤ k < n which stands for the dimension of the subspace in which the indvidual points are allowed t...

We propose a quantization of the Painlevé system of type A (1) l studied by M. Noumi and Y. Yamada [13]. This quantization has the affine Weyl group symmetry of type A (1) l (l ≥ 2) as well as the Lax representation. For even l, the quantized system of type A (1) l can be obtained as the continuous limit of the discrete system constructed from the affine Weyl group symmetry of type A (1) l+1 .
